WINTER POSTCARD in Watercolor - ONLINE

DROP-INS WELCOME!

Mondays 5-6pm | 10 weeks  Jan-March

A one hour portable watercolor studio course for teens and adults, all on a postcard sized paper. This is a great beginner to intermediate. Explore different winter themes while strengthening your watercolor skills and watching Willow's live and interactive demonstrations.

ENDANGERED FLORA & FAUNA WATERCOLOR  - In-person

Tuesdays | 9:30am-12:30pm

Jan-March at Gage Academy of Art
Paint watercolor animals and nature themes such as; red pandas, pangolins, plants, parrots, sea turtles, bees, owls, and more. From realistic detailed renderings, to
character studies, and loose interpretations, each week you'll paint a different endangered theme.  Learn from in-person demonstrations and feedback in a relaxed art studio setting. Register a Gage Academy of Art

PNW WC POSTCARDS - ONLINE
Wednesdays | 10-Noon 
6 sessions (starts Feb 28) @ Seattle Artist League

Paint a menagerie of Pacific Northwest themes with teaching artist Willow Heath. A ferry boat on the Puget Sound, a Space Needle sunset, evergreens, a Mount Rainier landscape, Cannon beach, an orca, latte art, and local birds.  You’ll paint along with Willow’s original PNW art while building your knowledge and application of watercolor techniques, composition, and color mixing. Learn from live demonstrations, step by step tutorials, and feedback in a relaxed online studio. Level: Beginning / Intermediate

A 5 week mini course on painting snowy mountains, arctic wildlife, and frozen winter landscapes. Learn to break down photo references and translate them into watercolor techniques. Learn from live interactive demonstrations and feedback in a relaxed art studio environment. Level: Intermediate. Register at Gage Academy of Art 

LIGHT IN WATERCOLOR - ONLINE

Thursdays| 9am-11:30am Pacific Time |5 weeks

March -April

Push the limits of watercolor and imbue your work with light and depth. Create a series of realistic watercolor vignettes of reflective surfaces such as water, glass, metal, hair, and gemstones.

WATERCOLOR DESSERTS

THURSDAYS APRIL 18 -MAY 9 (5 weeks only)

Learn to paint deliciously beautiful, light filled watercolor pies, donuts, sweets, and beverages from two time cookbook illustrator Willow Heath. Level: Intermediate. Register at Gage Academy of Art 

FLOWERS- THE WEIRD, WILD & WILTED

THURSDAYS ( 4 weeks), Starts 4/18 in-person

Learn to paint the amazing and lush colors and textures of flowers as they wilt and dry. Fine tune your glazing skills and paint a small series of delicately fierce floral.

CONTEMPORARY WC PORTRAITS

TUESDAYS April 16 -June 11 in-person

Explore loose, realistic, and expressive watercolor portrait techniques. This class we will demystify portrait painting and imbue your portraits with color and expression.  Each week will be a different theme such as expressions, painting hair, eyes, use of color, and more. You’ll watch Willow’s live demonstration, hear feedback, and enjoy artful discussions. Level: Intermediate. Register at Gage Academy of Art
